I met Genevieve while on tour in Morrocco over New Years in 2018. Not only is she an awesome human, she is an RMT, artist, and adventurer. In November 2020, she started out on a 3000km trek on Te Araroa from Camp Reinga (located in New Zealand) which she finished coincidentally on my birthday, April 6, 2021.
She captured this pic along her journey on Rakiura or Stewart Island and I thought it the perfect piece to paint to commemorate (one of her many) adventures of a lifetime.
